Listen to news articles on the go
Paste a link from most public news sites and tta1 reads the story aloud, without the ads, menus and related-story clutter.
Found a story in another language? tta1 translates it first, then reads it to you in any of 25 languages.

Made for the daily news
Morning briefing
Paste the links to the stories you want to catch up on and listen over breakfast.
Foreign coverage
Read the local paper's version of a story, translated into your language.
Analysis and features
Long explainers and opinion pieces you'd otherwise leave open in a tab.
Local news
Smaller outlets work too, as long as the story is public.
Just the story
News pages are some of the busiest on the web: autoplay video, newsletter pop-ups, related links between every paragraph. tta1 reads only the headline and the story itself.
Stories behind a paywall can't be fetched, but if you're a subscriber you can copy the text and paste it into tta1 to hear it the same way.
Free to start
A free account gets 1,000 words of audio every month for links, X threads and pasted text, with no card needed. Plus ($6 a month) and Pro ($12 a month) give you more words and add PDF, Word and screenshot uploads and MP3 downloads. See pricing
Frequently asked questions
Which news sites work?
Most public news sites. If a story opens in a private browser window without signing in, tta1 can usually read it.
Can tta1 translate foreign news?
Yes. The story's language is detected automatically. Choose any of 25 languages under "Read in" and it's translated before it's read.
What about pages behind a login or paywall?
tta1 can only fetch pages that anyone can open without signing in. For anything else, copy the text and paste it into tta1 instead, and it's read aloud the same way.
