tta1

Have any article read aloud to you

Too many tabs, not enough time to read? Paste an article link and tta1 reads it aloud while you walk, cook or commute.

Audio starts in seconds, even for long reads, and you can speed it up or slow it down without changing the pitch.

Paste a link

Next, pick a voice. Listening needs a free account.

How it works

  1. 1

Save it for later, out loud

Paste the link to anything you meant to read but didn't get to.

  2. 2

    Pick a voice you like

Calm, bright, warm or crisp. Preview them first and tta1 remembers your choice.

  3. 3

    Listen at your pace

Slow it down for dense writing or speed it up to 2.5× for lighter reads.

When listening beats reading

  • Commuting

Turn the articles you saved this morning into something to listen to on the train or in the car.

  • Chores and exercise

Keep your hands free and your phone in your pocket. Playback continues with the screen locked.

  • Tired eyes

After a day in front of a screen, listening is easier than reading another long page of small text.

  • Reading support

Hearing text read aloud while following along can help with focus, dyslexia and learning a new language.

A reader that sounds like a person

Built-in browser readers tend to sound robotic and read everything on the page, including menus and buttons. tta1 uses natural AI voices and reads only the article, with pauses at headings and paragraphs so it's easy to follow.

Everything you listen to is kept in your library. Close the tab, come back later and carry on from the same spot, or replay an article you enjoyed without being charged again.

Free to start

A free account gets 1,000 words of audio every month for links, X threads and pasted text, with no card needed. Plus ($6 a month) and Pro ($12 a month) give you more words and add PDF, Word and screenshot uploads and MP3 downloads. See pricing

Frequently asked questions

Can I control playback like a podcast?

Yes. Skip back 15 seconds or forward 30, change speed from 0.5× to 2.5×, and use the play and skip controls on your lock screen or headphones.

Does it remember where I stopped?

Yes. Each reading resumes from where you left off on that device, and your library of past readings is there on every device you sign in on.

Do I need to install anything?

No. tta1 runs in any modern browser on your phone, tablet or computer. You can add it to your home screen if you'd like it to feel like an app.
